World Tuberculosis Day, also known as World TB Day, seeks to raise awareness for Tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a bacterial infectious disease that affects the lungs. It is estimated that about 10 million people fall ill with Tuberculosis and 1.5 million die from the disease each year around the world.
