Do you have a passion for poetry? Is the safety of your family, community, and country important to you?
The National Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Committee (NDPPC) presents the “Spoken Word Competition”, which is a significant aspect of the National Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Month.
Under the theme “Disaster Preparedness Starts with You. Let’s Prepare Together”, the Spoken Word Competition affords interested persons of all age groups an opportunity to exercise and practice their poetry skills.
Interested persons will be judged on their craft to verbalise their versatility in poetry on measures by which citizens can mitigate, prepare, respond and recover from natural disasters caused by the negative effects of hazards.
This prize-wining competition also affords successful competitors the opportunity to win attractive prizes such as a computer laptop, a computer tablet, or a blue tooth headset, all sponsored by Ramps Logistics.
