On the third Wednesday of every May, National Juice Slush Day celebrates the icy delight that has come to be known as frozen juice slush.
Try the following:
To make a slushie with a blender place 2 cups of cold water, 1/2 cup of sugar, 4 cups ice, 1/2 cup of frozen fruit (or 1/3 cup of frozen fruit flavor) in your blender. Blend on high speed for 2 minutes until you get a smooth texture.
