National French Fry Day

Writer: ptessslmcptessslmc

National French Fry Day seeks to encourage consumption of the side dish known as French Fries. French fries are made by slicing a potato into strips and frying them in oil. According to International Business Times, Americans eat an estimated 29 pounds of fries per person per year.

National French Fry Day seems to have been started in 2015 as a promotion for the salty potato side dish. It is observed annually on July 13th.
