International Day of the Tropics celebrates and recognizes the tropic’s diversity and the land’s potential. The tropics are the area between the tropic of Capricorn and the tropic of Cancer. The region consists of mostly nature, it rains at the tropics more than anywhere else in the world, the tropics consist of about 40% of the earth’s surface. The observance happens every year on June 29th.
