#DrySeasonAwareness The Dry Season is here, are you prepared?
Forest Fires or Bush Fires usually occur in the dry season period, these fires can be started intentionally, accidentally or spontaneously. Sometimes fires are set deliberately for farming or disposal of refuse, if not done properly it can cause disastrous consequences. Illegal fires pose dangers to person, property and the environment.
In order to reduce bush fires, the Disaster Management Units of the 14 Municipal Corporations are installing anti-bushfire signs at various locations across Trinidad.
