Former Tobago Calypso Monarch Caston Cupid was second with "Straight From The Heart," a song that also took him to the runner-up position in the 2023 Tobago Heritage Calypso Monarch Competition.
Pharaoh (Dawren Greenidge) rounded out the top three with his offering for 2024, " Ah Doh Want To Do It."
The 2024 competition was hosted on Tuesday night by the National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) at the Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah.
Newly-crowned champion Mical Teja, who competed in the Young Kings for the first time in 2023, has made a big splash in 2024 with "DNA."
The song, which he also wrote and produced with Michael "Tano" Montano, has been the most popular song of choice during the 2024 Panorama competition.
